A completed Application Form does not oblige the school to accept your child. However, once you have been notified of your child’s placement decision and the registration and relevant term fees have been paid, a contract is deemed to exist between the school and the parents/guardians, provided that the school regulations are observed. The school reserves the right to place your child in a class deemed to be the most appropriate, within the bounds of the KHDA guidelines.

One-time non-refundable, non-transferable Application Fee of AED 500 is due at the time of application.
We offer a school bus service, open to all Clarion School parents. All the buses used adhere to the strictest RTA safety standards. A female bus nanny travels with each vehicle.
Payment of fees can be made by cash, cheque, credit card or bank transfer. Bank details for wire transfer payment are available upon request.
Discounts may be applied. All existing discounts are found on the “School Fees” section.
Tuition Fee Policy
The Tuition Fee includes books, examination fees, uniform and PE Kit internally provided after-school activities. The first semester fee is due prior to the beginning of each academic year. The second-semester fee is due by 31st December.
A student may not start the academic year unless the first-semester fee has been paid in full.
According to Ministry of Education regulations, the school reserves the right to withhold any reports until fees have been paid in full. According to Ministry of Education regulations, the school reserves the right to withhold the final results and abstain from issuing transfer certificates until settlement of all school fees is made.
Re-Enrolment for continuing students will not be accepted unless all fees due have been paid in full.
For students enrolling after the start of school, tuition fees will be pro-rated.
Payment of fees can be made by credit card, wire transfer, local cheque or cash. Bank details for wire transfer payment are available upon request. Clarion School will charge an administration fee of AED 500 for each cheque that is returned by the Bank.
In order to secure a place for the next academic year, parents will be asked to pay a re-enrollment fee of 10% of the annual tuition fees, which is non-refundable, and will be applied against the first semester fee. The deadline for re-enrollment fee payment is March 31 of each academic year.
Additional costs include but are not limited to, School trips, externally provided after-school activities, transportation and food & beverage.
The Parent(s) or Guardian, whose signature(s) appear(s) on the Contract, shall be liable to Clarion School for the payment of outstanding School Fees.
To withdraw their child from school, the parent(s) or guardian must complete a leaving form with Admissions department.
In the cases of both existing and new students, Application & Registration Fees will not be refunded if students choose not to return to school for the next academic year or choose not to take the offered places.
Tuition Refund Policy
Tuition fees will be refunded as follows:
- Minus any registration fee made for placing the student on the school’s official class list. This refund is subject to approval by the Superintendent and in compliance with the KHDA rules.
- The Seat Deposit Fee is refundable if the family is leaving the country.
- If the student attends school for two weeks or less, a month’s fees will be deducted.
- If the student attends school for a period ranging between two weeks and one month, two months’ fees will be deducted.
- If the student attends for more than a month, three months’ fees will be deducted.
- No refund will be made where the student attends class for more than 6 calendar weeks of the semester.
- Tuition will be refunded only after the parent or guardian has submitted the request in writing to the school admissions office.
- Tuition refunds are provided to the original payee.
Parent(s) or Authorized Guardians agree(s) to inform Clarion School of any changes to their contact details, ensuring that they can be reached at any time via email, SMS and telephone.
All students enrolled in school should be under the care of the Parent or Authorized Guardian and should not be residing independently.
