Dear Parents and Friends of Clarion,
It has been a very active and productive week at Clarion School!
On Monday, November 4, we had the honor of welcoming Ms. Reham, a representative from Dr. Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots program. Students in Grade 3 – Grade 8 had the unique experience of previewing Dr. Goodall’s new documentary, which was both inspiring and educational. Additionally, our school celebrated Diwali, the traditional Indian “Festival of Lights.”
Our Early Years through Grade 4 students continue their preparations for the upcoming culmination activities, scheduled from Wednesday, December 4 – Friday, December 6. A reminder for parents: students in Grade 5 – Grade 8 will not be participating in the culmination activities at this time. Instead, they will showcase their projects at our school’s STEAM Expo on Friday, January 31. Further details about these events will be shared as we get closer to the dates.
Important Announcements:
As we move into the second week of November, we are reminded that there are only 22 school days remaining in Term 1. We ask for your support to ensure that students arrive on time each day and remain in school through the last day of Term 1, which is December 13. There’s still much to accomplish, as outlined in the “Dates to Remember” section of this message.
In closing, I would like to sincerely thank our parents for their continued support.
I look forward to seeing everyone on a bright and sunny Monday, November 11.
Sincerely,
Larry
