Dear Clarion School Community,

As I approach my final week at Clarion School, I want to thank everyone once again for the wonderful experience I have had with our school and community.

Clarion School has given me the opportunity to work alongside a team of staff members and parents who are deeply committed to rolling up their sleeves and finding solutions to the persistent challenges inherent to private schools in our region. Together, we have established a very unique school that provides our students with an exceptional education.

This has been a truly unique leadership experience for me. Each day at Clarion has brought something joyful to celebrate. Even the challenging moments that are inevitable in the life of a school community have taught me important lessons, making me a better person. Serving as your Principal has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and for this, I am profoundly grateful to you.

Saying goodbye is difficult, but it is far less so knowing that Blanca Hindle has been selected to serve as your next Acting Principal. I am confident that the school will continue to excel and improve, thanks to the strength of the school’s leadership team, the outstanding staff, and the unwavering support of our wonderful parents.

Although I will be on the other side of the world, I will remain one of the school’s biggest cheerleader.

Past Two Weeks’ Events

• A special thank you to our Eid Al Etihad – Union Day committee, led by Mr. Mohamed (Head of Arabic And Islamic Development) and Ms. Elham (Head of Innovation, Arts and Design and Emirati Culture and Technology Integration Specialist), for organizing and facilitating a wonderful Eid Al Etihad - Union Day celebration. We had fantastic support and participation from our staff and parents.
• Our PreK–Grade 2 students made us incredibly proud with their culmination activities, concerts, and art displays. Thank you to our staff for their exceptional efforts in preparing the students and to our parents for joining us in celebrating our students’ learning.
• Term 1 report cards were distributed on Friday, December 6. If you did not receive access to your child’s report card, please contact Angie at support@clarionschool.com.
• Parents received a link to the Signup Genius application to book their preferred slot for parent-teacher interviews, which will occur on December 11 and 12. Please contact Angie at support@clarionschool.com if you have not received the link to sign up for interviews.

In closing, I would like to sincerely thank our parents for their continued support.

I look forward to seeing everyone on a bright and sunny Monday, December 9.
