From being a front-runner in Silicon Valley to then devoting his life to helping others, Nipun’s own journey is ripe with powerful stories about the transformative power of giving in the world today.
After being dissatisfied by the dot-com greed of the late 90s, Nipun founded Service Space and has since incubated multiple projects dedicated to doing good. Some include successful online portals, Daily Good and Karma Tube as well as offline movements like smile cards, a pay-it-forward rikshaw in India, and Karma kitchen restaurants across the USA.
All of this is anchored by his incredible open-ended, unscripted, walking pilgrimage in India, accompanied by his Wife, Guri. The couple traversed over 1000 kilometers by foot, living off a dollar a day, delivering as many acts of kindness as they could. Eating whatever was offered and sleeping on whatever surface they found, cementing how happiness and giving alone can be so satiating amidst adversity.
Attendees can look forward to hearing this incredible story as well as join in for an intimate Dinner with Nipun Mehta after.
