May 5, 2023

Dear Parents and Friends of Clarion,

We are fortunate that the weather remains cooler than what we would typically expect at this time of year.

The school year has rushed by and as of Monday, May 8, we have 36 school days remaining in this school year.

1. Clarion Canteen and Multi-purpose Hall –

We are very excited to share with you that our Multi-purpose hall will be ready for use by our PE classes starting Monday, May 8. The final touches to the facility will occur next week. Our current gym will be able to serve as a canteen for our Grade 3 – 7 students starting on this date as well. Students from Grade 3 – 7 will eat lunch in the canteen which will have canteen style seating. We will also have supervised microwave stations for those who wish to bring food from home to be heated. Please ensure the food is sent in a microwavable container.

We will have our first whole school assembly with a ribbon cutting ceremony in the Multi-purpose hall on Wednesday, May 10.

2. Clarion Commons –

We invite our Clarion parents and community members to join us for a complimentary session on Mind mapping for spoken Arabic on Wednesday, May 10 at the Atrium from 8:15 AM - 9:15 AM. It's been an incredible week at Clarion school as we celebrated French week. Our students had an amazing opportunity to immerse themselves in French culture and language, and we are incredibly grateful for the hard work and dedication of our fantastic French teachers, Ms. Rezlene and Ms. Dina. Their tireless efforts and enthusiasm in preparing for this event have truly made it a success. We can't thank them enough for all they've done to make this week so memorable for our students.

4. CPC Social –

The CPC has organized a relaxed and enjoyable social evening to connect, catch up and network with one another. As this will be the last social event for parents this school year, we hope to see you all there!

The event will take place on Friday, May 12 at 7:00 PM, hosted at the Eloquent Elephant in Business Bay. More information about the event can be found in the newsletter. Don't miss out on this opportunity to unwind and engage with the Clarion community.
