Dear Clarion Parents,
This past week marked a historic moment for the UAE with the largest recorded rainfall event in 75 years. In just 12 hours, Dubai received over 100 millimeters of rain, equivalent to the city's typical two-year average of 50 millimeters. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who faced damage to their homes or vehicles during this unprecedented event.
After the initial day of our distance learning program, we recognized the need for enhancements to ensure our students receive high-quality instruction. We've made adjustments to the program and will continue to refine it based on feedback and experiences. We deeply appreciate the patience and understanding of our parents, students, and staff during these challenging times. It's moments like these that highlight the strength and resilience of our Clarion community.
With April 22 marking the countdown to the end of the school year, we have only 48 school days remaining. We want to express our gratitude to parents for ensuring their children attend school punctually and for your continued support in picking them up promptly at the end of the day. Your cooperation plays a crucial role in maintaining a smooth school day for our students.
I hope that everyone remains safe and are able to overcome whatever obstacles or challenges the storm has created for you and your families.
I look forward to seeing everyone on a bright and sunny Monday, April 22, 2024.
Sincerely,
Larry
